Despite dealing with an injury, Toronto Maple Leafs' William Nylander might participate in Game 2 versus the Boston Bruins.
Sheldon Keefe, the team's coach, mentioned that the final decision on Nylander's playtime will occur before the game on Monday evening. Nylander was absent from Game 1, which ended in a 5-1 victory for the Bruins.
At 27, Nylander wrapped up the regular season with a personal high of 98 points (40 goals, 58 assists) over 82 games, though he did not score in the last 11 games.
Since being selected by Toronto as the eighth pick in 2014, Nylander has accumulated 528 points (217 goals, 311 assists) across 603 regular-season games, along with achieving 40 points (17 goals, 23 assists) in 50 postseason matches.
