Johnny Gaudreau, the standout player from the Columbus Blue Jackets, spearheaded the United States' dominant 6-1 win over Germany at the ice hockey world championship, contributing with both a goal and an assist.

Contributions also came from Michael Kesselring, Brady Tkachuk, Luke Hughes, Trevor Zegras, and Michael Eyssimont, as the American team bounced back from a previous defeat to Sweden.
