Vancouver Canucks' Goalie Thatcher Demko Sidelined for 2-4 Weeks Due to Knee Injury

It is expected that Vancouver Canucks' goaltender Thatcher Demko will be sidelined for 2-4 weeks owing to a knee injury.

This season, Demko has distinguished himself, securing the top position in the NHL with 34 victories and achieving a goals-against average of 2.47 along with a save percentage of .917.

During Demko's recovery period, Casey DeSmith is anticipated to step in as the goalie for the Canucks. Currently, Vancouver holds the top spot in the Western Conference with 91 points.

Prior to sustaining his injury, Demko earned the recognition of being named the NHL's Third Star of the Week following his stellar performances against the Winnipeg Jets, Vegas Golden Knights, and Los Angeles Kings.

Selected in the second round of the 2014 draft, Demko has been with the Canucks for seven seasons and boasts a career record of 115 wins, 80 losses, and 17 overtime/shootout losses.
