Jack Eichel, Ivan Barbashev, and Shea Theodore each scored a goal and provided an assist, helping the Vegas Golden Knights secure a 4-3 win against the St. Louis Blues on Friday night.
Nicolas Roy added another goal for the Golden Knights, with Mark Stone contributing two assists. Adin Hill made 19 saves.
Pavel Buchnevich scored twice and assisted once for the Blues, who faced their first loss of the season. Robert Thomas scored the other goal, and Jordan Kyrou provided two assists. In goal, Jordan Binnington stopped 24 shots.
The Blues marked the first occurrence of brothers playing for the team since Rich and Ron Sutter in 1993.
Despite playing the second of a back-to-back and their third game in four days, the Blues remained a tough competitor, consistently overcoming multigoal deficits.
