Nicolas Roy, Tomas Hertl, and Pavel Dorofeyev scored goals helping the Vegas Golden Knights secure a 3-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday night.
Shea Theodore provided two assists and Adin Hill managed 22 saves for Vegas. Jack Eichel added his 20th assist of the season, placing him second in the NHL rankings.
For Anaheim, Brock McGinn and Frank Vatrano found the net, while Lukas Dostal made an impressive 37 saves. Brett Leason contributed with two assists.
Vatrano scored a goal with just 13 seconds remaining in the game, bringing the Ducks close to a tie, but they were unable to level the score before the final buzzer.
