Mark Scheifele led the Winnipeg Jets to a 6-3 win against the Florida Panthers in Winnipeg, scoring his ninth career hat trick on Tuesday night.

Morgan Barron added two goals into an empty net, while Kyle Connor, Josh Morrissey, and Nikolaj Ehlers each recorded a goal and an assist for the Jets. Connor Hellebuyck stopped 20 shots for his team.

For the Panthers, Matthew Tkachuk notched a goal and an assist. A.J. Greer and Sam Reinhart contributed with goals, and Sergei Bobrovsky made 21 saves in net.

During the third period, Scheifele’s third goal came just moments after the Jets' power play concluded, quickly reclaiming the lead for Winnipeg.

With this victory, the Jets now boast a league-best record of 16-3 and have accumulated 32 points, while the Panthers' record stands at 10-6-3.

The Panthers are set to face off against Chicago on Thursday, while the Jets embark on a six-game road trip starting in Pittsburgh on Friday.
