Winnipeg's Unbeaten Streak Continues with 3-2 Win Over St. Louis, Driven by Hellebuyck and Second-Period Rally

Connor Hellebuyck, the current Vezina Trophy holder, stopped 27 shots to guide the unbeaten Winnipeg Jets to a 3-2 triumph over the St. Louis Blues.

In the second period, the Jets got goals from Nino Niederreiter, Colin Miller, and Kyle Connor, with Cole Perfetti providing assists on all three.

The Blues' two goals were scored by Brandon Saad, with Robert Thomas contributing assists. Hellebuyck's record against the Blues improved to 5-0 this season, while Jordan Binnington stopped 21 shots.

The Jets have secured victories in 10 of their last 12 encounters with the Blues. Meanwhile, Philip Broberg, who had recorded six points in his first six games, did not score for the Blues.

Saad reached his 500th career point milestone with his initial goal of the season.

The Jets will next compete against the Seattle Kraken, while the Blues kick off a four-game road trip facing the Toronto Maple Leafs.
