Ottawa halted their losing streak at three games by defeating New Jersey 5-2 on Saturday. Both Chabot and Joseph netted a goal and provided an assist, with additional goals coming from Crookshank, Greig, and Batherson. Korpisalo secured the victory with 18 saves. For New Jersey, goals were scored by Bratt and Nosek, bringing an end to their two-game streak of wins. Allen stopped 20 shots for the Devils. After taking an early lead in the first period, Ottawa trailed 2-1 in the second period before scoring three unanswered goals to permanently secure the lead.
