On Sunday night, under the leadership of Tyler Seguin, who scored twice, and Thomas Harley, who contributed three assists, the Dallas Stars triumphed over the Colorado Avalanche with a 7-4 victory, thereby increasing their lead in the Western Conference. Despite a comeback effort from Colorado, Dallas was able to extend their lead with Wyatt Johnston's goal and secured the win with an empty-net goal from Seguin. Even in the absence of Mikko Rantanen, the Avalanche found it challenging to hold back Dallas' potent powerplay, which was ignited by penalties from Jamie Benn. With this loss, Colorado, which has seen defeat in four out of their last seven games, dropped to 102 points, placing them five points behind the Stars. Read the full game analysis.
