Game Recap

Casey DeSmith of Vancouver stopped 32 shots, and the trio of Sam Lafferty, Pius Suter, and Dakota Joshua found the back of the net in their 3-1 triumph over Edmonton. The only goal for the Oilers was netted by Evander Kane in their defeat. In an effort to level the score, Edmonton’s goalie Stuart Skinner let in a goal with an empty net by Joshua, clinching the win for Vancouver. With this victory, the Canucks have extended their lead in the Pacific Division to five points, having two games left to play. On the other hand, the Oilers' chances are dwindling, with only three games remaining. Additionally, Vancouver’s Thatcher Demko did not play for the 14th straight game, even though he has returned to practice. Read the full game analysis.
