Brad Marchand netted two goals, one of which broke the tie in the third period, propelling the Boston Bruins to a 4-2 win against the Toronto Maple Leafs in the third game of their opening-round playoff series. In addition to his goals, Marchand contributed an assist. Jake DeBrusk and Trent Frederic also found the back of the net for Boston. Jeremy Swayman stopped 28 shots to secure the victory. For Toronto, Matthew Knies managed to score despite the team failing to capitalize on any of their five power-play opportunities.
