Despite a few hiccups, Sergei Bobrovsky was a wall in net, propelling the Florida Panthers to a 3-0 win over the Edmonton Oilers in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Even with Conner McDavid's six shots on goal, Bobrovsky's outstanding goaltending couldn't be cracked. The Panthers now lead the series, thanks to goals from Carter Verhaeghe and Evan Rodrigues. Although the Oilers managed to maintain control, they are at a disadvantage due to 30 penalty kills and a lack of scoring efficiency. The series, marking the longest distance between competing teams, will resume Tuesday with Game 2 in the Panthers' packed home arena. Read the full game analysis.
