Anton Forsberg guided the Ottawa Senators to their first road victory with a 4-0 shutout win over Utah. Ottawa's goals came from Drake Batherson, Claude Giroux, Ridley Greig, and Brady Tkachuk, while Utah's goaltenders, Connor Ingram and Karel Vejmelka, made a combined 19 saves. The Senators capitalized on Utah's defensive lapses with a well-balanced defensive strategy and efficient offense, despite being outshot 31-22. Batherson and Giroux netted goals during four-on-four play to give Ottawa an early advantage, and Greig extended their lead with a power-play goal. Ottawa's power play success improved to 9 out of 22 for the season, while Utah's penalty kill streak was snapped after eight games.
