Connor Zary netted Calgary's opening goal, while Montreal's goals came from Joel Armia and Brendan Gallagher. Despite struggling on the power play, Coronato's impressive performance secured the victory for Calgary. Montreal dominated the first period, but Calgary turned the tide in the second, outshooting Montreal 13 to 5.
