Martin Necas netted the decisive goal with just 29 seconds remaining, securing the Carolina Hurricanes' 6-4 win against the Philadelphia Flyers. Although Necas has scored nine game-winning goals in overtime, this marks his first in regulation. For the Flyers, Travis Konecny tallied two goals and two assists, helping them erase deficits of 2-1, 3-1, and 4-3. Philadelphia earned a late power play, but their advantage was nullified just 17 seconds later when Emil Andrae was penalized. The Hurricanes have triumphed in all four matches this season in which they conceded the first goal. Looking ahead, the Flyers will take on Tampa Bay on Thursday, while the Hurricanes are set to host Pittsburgh. Read the full game analysis.
