The Carolina Hurricanes extended their winning streak to eight games by defeating the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-1. Jack Roslovic spearheaded the effort with two goals and an assist, while Jordan Martinook, Jaccob Slavin, and Eric Robinson also found the back of the net. Although the Penguins had a slow start, Blake Lizotte scored in the third period. Pyotr Kochetkov was impressive in goal for Carolina, making 35 saves, while Alex Nedeljkovic recorded 14 saves for Pittsburgh.
