The Vegas Golden Knights triumphed over the Montreal Canadiens with a 6-2 victory, netting five goals in the second period. The Canadiens managed to score twice in the third period before Vegas's Jack Eichel added a seventh goal. This marks the sixth time this season that Montreal has allowed five even-strength goals. Golden Knights' goalie Adin Hill successfully blocked 15 of 17 shots, while Canadiens' Sam Montembeault conceded five goals out of 25 shots before being replaced by Cayden Primeau. After suffering consecutive losses, Vegas bounced back with their second road win. Meanwhile, Montreal continued to struggle, falling back into their early-season issues.
